Custom T-Shirts & Custom Apparel

Since promotional products are what got us started here at Williams Advertising, part of our business is also designing and producing custom apparel and custom t-shirts. Like with most of our products, we have people (we aren’t actually producing your custom cups, logo pens and personalized gifts here in our downtown Hopkinsville office – same goes for our custom shirts). We leave the production to our trusted suppliers, freeing up our time to make sure you get what you want, and you really don’t have to deal with anything past the initial conversation with us if you don’t want to.

So what do we do for a custom shirt or custom apparel order? We help you decide what you want – we give our expertise on the material and fit of a piece of clothing, we know what brands are better quality, we can recommend the good old stand-bys or we can show you the latest and help you keep your brand up with fashion trends, we can do a budget tee or we can offer you options for higher end apparel – basically whatever you need as it relates to custom t-shirts or other custom apparel. We use our regular attendance at industry trade shows and a t-shirt and sweatshirt obsession by one business development staffer to your advantage when trying to help you pick out a popular shirt for your employees or customers.

Then comes the design part. We’re happy to help with a logo shirt or polo. We also love it when a customer comes to us wanting us to design a fun custom t-shirt, or maybe a custom sweatshirt, for their customers. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, if someone can get enjoyment out of the promotional item you give them, they’re likely to use it more and more. So we especially love it for your brand when you can have a little fun and provide an item that not only promotes your brand, but gives your brand more exposure by thinking of the end-user wearing the shirt. Think about it this way. Let’s say you’re a tea drinker. Would you rather wear a t-shirt that has a Lipton logo stretched across the front, or would you instead give more wear to a shirt that promotes your love for sweet tea, the South and the SEC? From a branding perspective, sticking a Lipton logo on the sleeve or in a more discreet place still gives you exposure, but it ensures that your brand may get a few more impressions than the first example shirt that gets stored away for yard work or paint projects. And while we’re on that – please let us help you order varying sizes of shirts if you’re doing giveaway shirts. If it’s at all feasible, let’s give your potential customers the choice of their very own size so that we continue to increase chances of your brand being seen.

A couple of Hopkinsville examples of businesses doing custom apparel right are Bluegrass Barre & Med-Transit. Owner of Bluegrass Barre Alli Johnson is always thinking of what her ladies will wear, how the shirt will fit, will it actually work out well for working out, etc. Because of this, we have designed some really great (and popular!) shirts together. Our favorite was the Williams-designed “Sorry I’m Late” shirt pictured below, that flew off the shelves within one week of being in the studio. With Med-Transit, we were able to wrap a portion of the logo around the side of the shirt, giving the brand a stylish take on a basic tee. Check out some other apparel items below, and keep watching on Facebook for some fun and exciting new items we’re about to release for clients!
